Went to Bring the Washing in and This Was in My Peg Basket.

A Little Visitor in the Peg Basket

Returning from the garden, I hurried to collect the laundry before the rain began. As I reached for the peg basket, I noticed something unusual nestled among the wooden pegs. To my surprise, a tiny, adorable cat had made itself at home in the basket. Its soft fur and curious eyes instantly melted my heart.

This unexpected visitor added a touch of magic to an otherwise mundane chore. The little feline seemed perfectly content, as if it had chosen this cozy spot just for a nap. Moments like these remind us of the joy and spontaneity that cats bring into our lives. Whether it’s a rescued stray or a curious neighborhood explorer, every cat has a story to tell, and this one started in a peg basket.
