What a breed match means
This tool compares your selected preferences with structured breed descriptors. It is a conversation starter, not a prediction: individual cats vary widely, and adoption decisions should include temperament, health, and the specific animal in front of you.
What the score includes
The 100-point score gives 25 points to size, 20 each to activity, grooming, and affection, and 15 to voice. Activity uses explicit energetic/playful or calm tags; grooming uses care level; affection uses affectionate/social/friendly/loyal/sweet or independent tags; voice uses only explicit quiet or vocal tags. Missing personality tags are scored neutrally rather than treated as evidence. The tool does not score compatibility with children, dogs, or other cats because the dataset does not support those claims consistently.
