My Cat Likes to Sit on Books or Ipads... Why

Why Cats Sit on Books or iPads

Have you ever noticed your cat plopping down on your book or iPad just as you start reading or working? This common feline behavior is driven by a mix of warmth-seeking instincts and a clever strategy to capture your undivided attention. Cats are naturally drawn to warm surfaces, and devices like iPads emit heat, making them irresistible cozy spots.

Additionally, cats often seek to engage with their owners. By sitting on your book or iPad, your feline friend ensures you focus on them instead of your task. This behavior also stems from their territorial nature, as they mark their presence on objects you frequently use. Understanding these traits helps us appreciate the quirky yet endearing habits of our furry companions.
