Our Maine Coon Wasnt Happy We Were Leaving for the Weekend

Oliver’s Majestic Disapproval
Our regal Maine Coon Oliver transformed into a furry judge the moment our suitcases appeared. Perched atop our half-packed luggage like a fluffy sentinel, he delivered the classic feline combination of narrowed eyes and twitching tail that every cat parent recognizes as supreme displeasure. His luxurious silver tabby fur seemed to puff up with indignation, while those tufted Maine Coon ears swiveled backward in clear protest.
This particular brand of feline disapproval became even more dramatic when we dared zip the suitcase closed. Oliver responded by dramatically flopping across the luggage handle, his 18-pound frame becoming an immovable furry roadblock. Maine Coons are known for their dog-like loyalty, and Oliver proved this by staging the most effective silent protest in cat history. We eventually compromised by leaving extra treats and his favorite feather toy, though his judging gaze followed us all the way out the door.
