Spent a Week and a Half Nurturing Cultivating This Grass for My Little Girl and Now That She Is Chomping Down on It I Feel Terrible for the Grass!

My Little Grass Gourmet

For over a week, I tenderly nurtured this patch of fresh cat grass, watering it daily and ensuring it got just the right amount of sunlight. Each new green blade felt like a small victory in my mission to provide natural enrichment for my curious feline. When I finally presented it to her, her immediate enthusiasm was both rewarding and unexpectedly heartbreaking.

As she happily chomped away with that signature cat grass crunch, I realized I’d grown oddly attached to my little green project. The same blades I’d watched sprout and grow were now disappearing bite by bite. Yet seeing her natural instincts kick in, and knowing I’d created something healthy she clearly loved, made all the effort worthwhile. This is the beautiful contradiction of being a cat parent, creating things just to watch them be destroyed with joy.
