The Kitten I Rescued Is Doing Very Well in Its New Home! I Visited Her Today and Took This Picture. (Her Name Is Mikah)

Mikah the Rescued Kitten

Our little Mikah has blossomed into the happiest of kittens since finding her forever home. Today’s visit revealed a confident, playful ball of energy who has completely claimed her new domain. From batting at sunbeams to curling up in her favorite plush bed, Mikah demonstrates that perfect balance of kitten curiosity and contentment that warms every rescuer’s heart.

The transformation from stray to spoiled house cat is complete, evident in her glossy coat and bright, trusting eyes. Her adoptive family reports she’s become quite the little shadow, following them from room to room before settling in for cuddle sessions. This photo captures one of Mikah’s signature moves, that adorable head tilt she does when hearing the crinkle of her favorite treat bag. Rescued kittens like Mikah remind us why we do this important work, one happy ending at a time.
